I have heard the monitors like the g pro (I'm not sure about the g pro exactly) can have up to a 10% discrepancy in numbers of horsepower and torque and some other minor misreadings. I'm just too lazy to go look it up. Unfortunately they have yet to release a tuner for my truck and may never. I've got the ole jet chip which was the biggest waste of 200 I have ever spent. I would love to sell it.

the g pro if installed right is more acurate then the stock gauges. there are a couple of programmers like the g pro that are universal that fit most vehicles if you are interested i will find a couple for you

the one i use is sct livewire...as far as the gauges, they are Extremely acurate...the hp and tq estimates are off but i think there is a way to update it with new software...just havent yet. mine was 550 at the time...about 2 years ago. unfortunately they are only for stangs, ford trucks, and a few select others right now

If you could. I'm not looking to monitor my hp or 1/4mile I really just want to be able to adjust the fuel map so I can choose to run higher performance, or in most cases better fuel economy. I haven't searched in a few months, but last year they still hadn't released anything that worked with the 05' 4.7L in the dakota. They have it for the 04 and under, but last I heard no one had cracked the programming in the new computer.

SCT just came out with their new flash device...check it

    http://www.sctflash.com/TSX.php

it's badass: touch screen, wireless...way more advanced than mine. I called them up while i was waiting to get my oil changed and the guy said that retail it goes for about 1200. if i didn't have so many things i wanted to do to my car already, i would get it.
